Prelude

INTRO: I simply love music. I LOVE ALL KINDS OF MUSIC. Yes, I sometimes enjoy listening to classical music, but I love alternative kind of music like Coldplay, DCFC, MUSE, Postal Service, those kinds of things the most. But I love music and arts the most. They are the things that keep me going, along of course with my best friendettas. But after today, I am stunned, and I have a deeper appreciation for music. It's beautiful!

After my lesson today, I must say I am really enlightened. And I'm focused. But I'm sure as 90210 airs, and Glee tomorrow, and Sytycd, and listening to 102.7, I will have forgotten my lesson by tonight.
But what really hit me was when my teacher said that Beethoven was COMPLETELY deaf while composing the Appasionata Sonata and the Waldstein Sonata. That's CRAZY. They have so much depth. Appasionata, the one I'm studying right now, that's CRAZY. It has so much STRENGTH AND PASSION AND YEARNING FOR SOMETHING DEEPER. Beethoven was deaf. he was crazy. He was GENIUS. JUST PURE GENIUS. how can he create music when he was deaf?! But he struggled. Yes, his appasionata was a STRUGGLE, a deep struggle of emotions, of overcoming his disability.
Now I know why I use Beethoven so much on my SAT essays. He truly is a hero.
